I was inspired by a walker model in 28mm displayed on The Miniatures Page. Instead of the common, “mech” style where the person rides inside a basically humanoid giant machine or the scout walker vehicle with a fighting compartment perched on legs this had a rider on a seat like a motorcycle with the machine behind them, The builder described it as a “chicken” and it appears bird or dinosaur like. I was really impressed and decided to build one in 15mm. Here is the start of that project. I used legs from what I think is an old Kryomech security robot. The body is made from a 15mm motorcycle, parts from an Airfix 1/72 scale jeep. A variety of other parts from the bits box. No weapons are yet fitted. I’m going to try my hand at resin casting this. As I move forward I hope to update this page.
